THE IMPORTANCE OF A CORRECT RIDE HEIGHT.

Braking, cornering, towing or load carrying ability and ride comfort are just some of the aspects of a vehicles performance and safety that are directly affected by a vehicles height.

Most vehicles maintain a slight rake in height from front to rear, usually around 10-15mm. Vehicles that have excessive or inadequate rake, or a lean from side to side, may have sagged or broken springs, which will require repair or replacement.

Incorrect ride height can also cause tyre wear and wheel alignment problems.

Ride height should be inspected at each undercar service or wheel alignment to ensure your vehicle is safe and performing to it’s optimum handling abilities.
